Applications, lodgements and requests that must be made at Court Services

You must lodge the following in person at Court Services:

General

  • Amended documents
  • Any lodgements in Admiralty cases
  • Any lodgements in Adoption cases
  • Any lodgements in Surrogacy cases
  • Applications for a remission or reduction of a Court fee
  • Application for a sealed or unsealed copy of record in all jurisdictions (except for Probate)
  • Civil case searches where you are not a party to the case
  • Documents to be served outside Australia
  • Initiating lodgements in Environment, Resources and Development cases
  • Initiating lodgements where any respondent or interested party has an address outside of Australia or New Zealand
  • Requests for an adjournment of a hearing that is not by consent
  • Requests for transcript
  • Requests to re-issue an investigation or examination summons
  • Payment of trial fees
  • Payment into the Magistrates Court, District Court or Supreme Court Suitors Fund
  • Payment of mediation fees
  • Request an interpreter for a trial
