You are able to order transcript for Supreme, District, ERD, and Coroners Court hearings.


For transcript for Magistrates or Youth Court proceedings, please email enquiry@courts.sa.gov.au with the details of your case and hearing(s).

What you need

  • The details of your case and hearing.

The cost

You will need to pay a fee to order a transcript unless you have a valid legal aid assignment certificate number.

If you are not a lawyer, you must pay for your transcript in person at the Higher Courts Registry counter before it can be provided to you.

If you are a law firm, you may pay for your transcript:

  • In person at the Higher Courts Registry counter; or
  • Via credit with an invoice issued or direct debit *.

* To be eligible the CAA must have received and processed a Direct Debit Request form. Click here to download form and once completed scan and email to supreme.registry@courts.sa.gov.au

How request a transcript for Supreme, District, ERD, and Coroners Court hearings

Steps:

  1. Log in to CourtSA
  2. Select "Order a transcript" in the drop down field
  3. Read the information in the blue information box then click "Order a transcript for Supreme, District, ERD, and Coroners Court hearings"
  4. Complete the form and click proceed
  5. Your order will be processed. When your transcript is available you will be sent an account which you must pay for within 30 days at the Higher Court Registry counter. Your transcript will then be provided to you in your requested format.

If you are a law firm and pay via credit or debit, when your transcript is available it will be provided to you in your requested format.
